Gotta love that face - the intensity of her always strikes me: Hélène Grimaud getting to the bottom of Schumann...
And I just found another one I have to share...Brahms' Rhapsody Op. 79, no. 2. This is the last piece I consciously remember having played towards the end of my school days, and it always makes me think of my wonderful teacher and friend Mika Yamada-Hussong, who knew I could play Brahms when I was still in doubt.
